Within many organizations, production and approval workflows can be pretty painful and inefficient. DivvyHQ's workflow tools provide several options for managing your process, as well as automating a few steps along the way.
For starters, you can utilize our default workflow that keeps things pretty simple.
Or you can leverage Divvy's new task management features to create subtasks for each content item. In this example, we have several steps, each of which can be managed via the task panel on the right.
When you're done with a particular step in the process, you can send the content item to the next team member in your workflow. Include a note (pause), update your tasks and even update the content item's deadline if you need. Your selected team members will automatically be notified.
Lastly, if your production and approval process is pretty consistent for various types of content, Divvy Pro and Enterprise customers can create custom workflow templates for each calendar. You can add each step as part of a task template (pause), determine the typical amount of time this step takes, and assign it to a specific user (pause).
So when you've created a new content item that utilizes a workflow template, Divvy will automate the creation of your production tasks as well as suggest task deadlines.
